This Bid Policy (“Policy”) governs the bidding process on DigiCrafts (“Platform,” “we,” “our,” “us”). It applies to all freelancers and clients using the Platform.

By submitting or accepting a bid on DigiCrafts, users agree to comply with this Policy, the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. Purpose of Bidding System

The bidding system allows freelancers to propose services for client-posted projects by submitting offers that include pricing, timelines, and scope.

DigiCrafts acts only as a neutral marketplace and does not participate in bid negotiations or guarantee outcomes.

2. Eligibility to Bid

To place bids, freelancers must:

Have a verified DigiCrafts account
Provide accurate profile and skill information
Comply with platform rules and applicable laws

DigiCrafts reserves the right to restrict bidding privileges at any time.

3. Bid Submission Rules

When submitting a bid, freelancers must:

Clearly describe the scope of work
Provide accurate pricing and timelines
Include milestone details where applicable
Submit bids only for services they are qualified to deliver

Misleading or false bids may be removed.

4. Bid Validity & Acceptance

A bid remains valid until:
- It is accepted by the client
- It is withdrawn by the freelancer
- The project is closed
Once a client accepts a bid:
- A binding agreement is formed between client and freelancer
- Cancellation is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy

5. Bid Modification & Withdrawal

Freelancers may withdraw or modify bids before acceptance
Bids cannot be modified or withdrawn after acceptance
Any changes after acceptance require mutual consent

6. Fees Related to Bidding

DigiCrafts may charge:
- Bid placement fees
- Platform or service fees

All fees are disclosed before bid submission.

Bid fees (if any) are non-refundable, regardless of bid outcome.

7. Prohibited Bidding Practices

Freelancers must NOT:

Submit fake or spam bids
Underbid with intent to renegotiate later
Request off-platform payments
Share contact details before project award
Copy bids or plagiarize content
Manipulate or interfere with other bids

Violation may result in penalties or account suspension.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Review bids fairly
Avoid misleading project descriptions
Not accept bids without intent to hire
Communicate clearly and honestly

9. Disputes Related to Bids

DigiCrafts does not intervene in bid negotiations
Disputes after bid acceptance are handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy
DigiCrafts may review bids for policy violations

10. Bid Visibility & Ranking

Bid visibility may be influenced by:
- Profile completeness
- Past performance
- Ratings and reviews
- Platform algorithms

DigiCrafts does not guarantee bid ranking or project selection.

11. Abuse & Enforcement

DigiCrafts reserves the right to:

Remove bids
Restrict bidding privileges
Suspend or terminate accounts

In cases of abuse or fraud, legal action may be taken.

12. Policy Updates

This Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of DigiCrafts indicates acceptance of the updated Policy.
